Boschendal

The Boschendal, our largest tent at Karoo, sleeps eight with two master suites each consisting of one queen bed and two twin bunk beds. Nestled at the waterfront of tranquil Smith Mountain Lake, Boschendal offers spacious accommodation for two families or one large family. The spacious tent includes a sitting area, two spacious bathrooms (one per wing), kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, two air fryers, and coffee machine, 55” Smart TV with wifi, sitting area, kitchen table,  private covered deck, private wood-burning hot tub, four burner propane griddle. The tents are fully equipped with all modern essentials such as heating and cooling as well as hot running water. The perfect combination of exploring nature’s finest beauty with a modern, elegant twist. Enjoy the scenery on the spacious covered deck with comfortable outdoor furniture. Want a relaxing dip in warm water? Enjoy your own private wood-burning hot tub just a few feet from your private deck. Feeling friendly? Enjoy the communal wood-burning fire pits or hammocks throughout the grounds of the resort. 

Enjoy your stay with comfort and ease as linens and wood for your private hot tub is provided throughout your experience at Karoo SML. A communal ice machine is also located on site in the lodge as well as vending machines equipped with snacks and drinks! A small coin laundromat is located in the lodge.
